How to get involved

Longwood Symphony Orchestra is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to performing good music for a good cause.

We welcome your time, talent and treasure!

• Become an LSO volunteer! Join us at our fundraising events, help out at the concerts by manning the ticket table or staffing the boutique during intermissions.
• Do you have special expertise in database management? Marketing? Are you interested in orchestra administration? Would you like to become a liaison between the orchestra and our Community Partners? Our community of volunteers welcomes you!
• DONATE to the LSO! Longwood Symphony collaborates with a medical nonprofit organization at every concert. It does not pass on the expenses of concert production to its Community Partners. Click here to donate!

Income from ticket sales covers only 40% of the LSO’s operating costs, which include hall rental, conductor and soloist fees, and music purchase.
