The Art Connection enriches and empowers under-served communities by
expanding access to original works of art. We facilitate the choice of art,
from artists and other donors, by those who may not have the opportunity to
experience the transformative possibilities of art in their lives. In their new
environments, the donated art stimulates dialogue, creativity, learning and
healing. For more information, please visit: www.theartconnection.org.
Longwood Symphony Orchestra will perform in support of The Art Connection on December 4, 2010.

Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK)
The Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK)'s challenging mission is to prevent domestic violence in Asian families and communities and provide hope to survivors. ATASK started New England's first shelter and support services for Asian survivors in 1992, in response to the growing immigrant population in Massachusetts and the lack of culturally and linguistically appropriate services. Annually, thirty staff fluent in over 12 Asian languages and dialects assist thousands of clients and children in building violence-free lives. ATASK's innovative programs also include teen dating violence prevention and training for police and medical and dental professionals. For more information, please visit: www.atask.org.
Longwood Symphony Orchestra will perform in Jordan Hall on May 14, 2011, in support of the work of the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK).
