Close to 80
percent of Longwood Symphony Orchestra's 120 musicians are healthcare
professionals including doctors, medical students, research scientists, nurses,
therapists and other caregivers. LSO's healer musicians represent nearly every
major medical institution in the Commonwealth and some beyond.
Participating
in Longwood Symphony's Healing Art of Music™ program has had a profound
impact on the musicians in the orchestra.
